The sixth round of permit awards are now awarded through waitlist placement for off-campus students, employees and resident students with emails sent from your Parking Account.
From the offered permits, this also re-opened a few waitlists. There are not necessarily permits available for the lots displayed. Permits are expected to be offered after this round, but are becoming increasingly tight for availability and much more limited on the amount offered. If you do not add yourself to the available waitlist(s) you would not be offered a permit.
For those awarded a permit who already accepted an offer, most exchange requests will not be accommodated as the parking lots and permits are near or at capacity.
If you do not have a permit and there are zero parking spaces available you would not be authorized parking on campus.
You can park in H lot, I lot or W lot and purchase a day pass from the parking lot Pay Stations or online with HonkMobile.
Parking lots B, E, F, G, J and S are unavailable for non-permit holders until 1pm on weekdays.
Short term parking (30 min, 1 hr, 2 hrs) is available at DIS Short Term Parking, UNC Short Term Parking and GYM Short Term Parking.
Daily parking rates at UBC’s Okanagan Campus are on the Parking Services website under Parking Rates on the Menu Bar.

U-PASS (Universal Transportation Pass) is available to all UBC students and provides unlimited access to the Kelowna Regional Transit Bus System. U-PASS is available through the Students’ Union.
You will remain on the waitlist during the semester and contacted based on your priority and placement. All permits are first come first serve. One permit on your Parking Account is allowed. An email will be sent to the address on your Parking Account with the link taking you directly to purchase the permit that is offered. Placing your name on a waitlist does not guarantee that you will be offered a permit.
