Construction of the new ICI building is about to get underway. Properties Trust obtained approval from UBC to begin mobilization of their staging and construction areas starting January 3rd, 2023. A portion of lot J will be impacted and used for construction facilities and a laydown area as indicated in the diagram below.
Of Note:
- We do not anticipate negative impacts to Lot J Permit Holders as this activity was anticipated and permits for Parking lot J were undersold.
- Access to the fenced off area will not be through Lot J, but rather through a newly constructed access as depicted in the diagram.
- Pedestrian access to EME from Lot J will require crossing of Alumni Avenue to the West side of the street. Please take care and use the cross walk.
