UBC Okanagan Parking Update – August 26 2020
UBCO Parking will continue to waive parking fees for the Term 1 Fall semester (September 2020 until December 2020). Information will be posted regarding Term 2 (January 2020 until April 2020) at a later date.
As fees are waived for Term 1, permits will not be issued as parking is free of charge. Parking is allowed in R lot for Resident Students only, as this is the only lot designated for overnight parking. Due to Nechako construction, E and F lot remain available for permit holders and authorized individuals only.
Staff and Faculty are not required to contact Parking Services to request a suspension of payroll deductions as this will be addressed automatically.
You may have seen conflicting information recently that was relevant to the Vancouver campus only. If you previously submitted a payroll deduction cancellation request due to this message and would like us to disregard it, no further action is required. If you would like Parking Services to cancel your permit, please follow this link https://parking.ok.ubc.ca/forms and submit a payroll deduction cancellation form.
Ensure that your parking account is accurate. Add, update and manage vehicle information on your parking account at https://parking.ok.ubc.ca/account.
All drivers to campus are reminded while payment is suspended, traffic and parking regulations remain in place. Park only in designated areas and carefully follow posted signage.
